MANILA, Philippines - Korean actor-singer Kim Hyun Joong, known for his role in the hit drama "Boys Over Flowers" arrived in Manila on Thursday.
Kim Hyun Joong is in the country to promote his latest album "Break Down." He will be meeting his Filipino fans at the Activity Center of Trinoma Mall in Quezon City at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
Kim Hyun Joong , who is also the endorser for Korean beauty chain The Face Shop, will be visiting its branches at The Mall of Asia and Trinoma on Friday. One hundred fans, who were picked in a raffle, will be able to get autographs from Kim at the Activity Center in Trinoma at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
Kim Hyun Joong's popularity in the Philippines rose because of his role as Yoon Ji Hoo, a member of F4 in "Boys Over Flowers," which aired on ABS-CBN. He was previously the leader of the boyband SS501 before he left the group to pursue a solo career.
He played the lead role in the series "Playful Kiss."
