Kim Hyun Joong was in Malaysia from 20 Aug – 23 Aug. Despite his short visit here in Malaysia, his charm managed to melt the fans’ hearts here. In many of Kim Hyun Joong’s interviews, he placed his fans as one of his top priorities. Hence, in each event that he attended in Malaysia, his message to his fans was how glad he is to meet everyone and happy that there wasn’t any accidents. Unfortunately, in some events, there were some injuries due to eager fans pushing each other to catch a glimpse of him.
A special meet and greet session was held at Berjaya Times Square which was organized by The Face Shop Malaysia. Prior to his arrival, there was an auction for 2 items, his autographed standee and an autographed personal knee guards that he uses for his soccer practice.
The standee managed to fetch RM 3000 by an Iranian fan and the knee guards were successfully bid by an ahjumma for RM 2000. At the end of the fan meet, the emcee announced that there was another RM 1000 sponsored by a young fan.
The gentleman Kim Hyun Joong politely asked the emcee where this girl was and invited her up to take a picture with him. This heatthrob knows how to win a girl’s heart. Kim Hyun Joong promised to his Malaysian fans that he will be back next year for another tour and concert.
