The ever popular Kim Hyun Joong visited the Philippines to promote his solo debut album, “Break Down” and give his fans a “high-five” experience. Kim Hyun Joong’s “High Five Touch” event is one of the most highly-anticipated events in the Philippines for K-POP fans. It is actually his second time visiting the Philippines. The first one was when he performed at a charity event with Korean idol group, B2ST as well as P-Pop groups like XLR8 and Pop Girls. It was held at Araneta Coliseum. But his second visit is considered as the first official one.

Yesterday, August 25, 2011 (Thursday) that Kim Hyun Joong gave his fans a very memorable experience. As early as eight in the morning, fans have already lined up to buy his album and get a gold stub wherein it’ll be their pass in giving Kim Hyun Joong a “high-five”. Hundreds of fans have gathered at the event that surprised and delighted Kim Hyun Joong. Before he appeared, there were numerous opening acts like the flash mob event wherein a group of female fans danced to “Break Down” and young teen artists that got the fans all hyped up.

As soon as Kim Hyun Joong appeared, fans started screaming like crazy that when he talked he could barely be heard. It took a while to get the fans calm as the excitement they feel was too hard to control. The giving of high-fives started as soon as Kim Hyun Joong ended his speech containing his thanks for the support and love of his Filipino fans. Fans happily gave Hyun Joong a high-five and excitedly profess their love for him in the process as well. A very lucky fan even got the chance to hug Kim Hyun Joong to the surprise and shock of the security guards on stage as well as Kim Hyun Joong and the fans. A young girl became the envy of the fans as Kim Hyun Joong took his time to give her a hug and even take a picture with her!

After the event, the happiness of the fans still radiated as there are wide smiles on their faces and some even cried because their dream of meeting Hyun Joong finally happened.
