The campaign drive, which is taking place from July 30 through August 2, focuses on bringing relief to the elderly in Korea as the nation experiences an intense heat wave.

The money donated by the fan club will enable the campaign to purchase 175 electric fans and 100 lightweight summer blankets for elderly citizens.

Fan club member Lee Eun Kyung shared, “Thinking of our seniors who are spending the hot summer in cramped houses without proper ventilation made our hearts heavy and we’re happy [the donation] is of some help. We wanted to support Kim Hyun Joong’s upcoming drama City Hunter and wish it success.”
