Solo artist Kim Hyun-joong's DVD featuring his live concert in Yokohama this February, has taken the honor of placing atop the Oricon's DVD daily and music DVD charts.
The Korean heartthrob's DVD debuted at No. 1 on Oricon's DVD daily chart on Thursday, which proves Kim's power as one of the leading Hallyu stars in the country after having attracted almost 20,000 fans to his concert, "Kim Hyun-joong Japan Major Debut Premium Live 2012."
The breakthrough DVD record, which also includes bonus video clips for his fans, topped the music DVD chart on the website on the same day.
Meanwhile, Kim just finished visiting Singapore and Hong Kong for his fan meeting tour in Asia that kicked off on May 4.
The officials noted in a statement released this morning that Kim sang a total of 14 songs, held talk sessions and high touch events at his previous meet-and-greets.
The tour will open next in Taiwan on May 18 and 19, and continue to take place in China -- Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing -- till June.
