[News] Artists under the ‘Big 4′ took home 74% of music program trophies this year

Artists under the ‘Big 4′ agencies (YG, SM, JYP, and Cube Entertainment) have dominated music program wins this year, taking home around 74% of the winner’s trophies!

From the first week of January 2011 to the second week of September, a total of 108 trophies have been given out by the three music programs that declare winners – ‘Music Bank‘, ‘Inkigayo‘, and ‘M! Countdown‘.

Out of those 108 trophies, 80 of them went to artists under the ‘Big 4′. Starting with SM Entertainment,TVXQwon 9 times, f(x) won 10 times, and Super Junior won 11 times, totaling to 30 trophies.

Under YG Entertainment, GD&TOP won twice, Big Bang won 14 times, Seungri won five times, and2NE1 won six times, totaling to 27 trophies.

Under Cube Entertainment, G.NA won four times, B2ST won eight times, and 4minute once, totaling to 13 trophies. As for JYP Entertainment, 2PM won seven times and miss A won three times, totaling to 10 trophies.

SM and YG combined total to 57 trophies, dominating about 53% of the total trophies won this year. Putting all of the ‘Big 4′ together totals to 74% of the trophies this year.

Teams that put the ‘Big 4′ aside included SECRET‘s “Shy Boy” with five wins and “Starlight Moonlight” with one win, totaling to six wins together. CNBLUE won seven times for “Intuition”, Kim Hyun Joong‘s “Break Down” won four times, T-ara‘s “Roly-Poly” won three times, Jay Park‘s “Abandoned” won twice, andINFINITE‘s “Be Mine” won twice.

IU continued her “Good Day” streak with one win in the first week of the year while K-Will,Wheesung, andSISTAR, all took home a trophy each.

Korean group SS501 member Park Jung Min came to Taiwan for the filming of idol drama ‘Fondant Garden’. Park Jung Min’s manager immediately explained “I’m afraid that it will cause unnecessary misunderstanding thus I didn’t allowed him to send text messages to girls.”

Recently Kingone Wang who has become muscular because of exercising said that Park Jung Min wishes to do more training with him thus leaving his contact to him. Kingone who is 31 years old this year feels that the 24 years old Park Jung Min is a cute and cheerful man. He does not usually see a man’s aptitude but feels that Park Jung Min is easy to get along. Shara Lin said that she kept pulling Park Jung Min’s pants while filming a drowning scene with him as he doesn’t know how to swim (in the drama), making it looks real. Created by Angie Chai, idol drama ‘Fondant Garden’ starring Park Jung Min, Kingone Wang and Shara Lin have been shooting for half a month. Korean star Park Jung Min came to Taiwan for the drama filming films a fake drowning scene whereby it turns real when Shara Lin pulled him down the sea. He who is not familiar with the water yelled continuously “It was so scary, she wants to murder me.” He was asked if Taiwan girls are really man (in characteristic), he laughed and said “(They are) So fierce!”

Park Jung Min is a standard flower boy said that he is actually concerned about the relationship with one another the most when he comes to Taiwan for filming. He revealed that he contacts with Kingone Wang by sending text message but did not contact the actresses in private. After hearing what he said, his Korea manager immediately explained that it is to avoid rumours “I was the one who doesn’t allow him to send text messages to girls.”

As for what was written in the text message? Because Park Jung Min typed it in Korean, it still made Kingone Wang at a loss for what he was trying to say till now. He said “I had to flip the book after reading his text message, but I still don’t understand anything.”

Park Jung Min who came to Taiwan not only uses Chinese during the filming of drama with the other actors, he even used Chinese throughout the entire interview, and is really putting in efforts on it. The drama crew inevitably taught him the ‘*Three Character Classic (*Cursed/Vulgar word)’ and he almost blurted it out at the scene which made his manager nervous and stopped him immediately. This makes Kingone Wang said “His burden is relatively heavy.”

Kingone Wang who is 31 years old took another challenge of acting in an idol drama, as all of his working partners are all younger than him, he jokingly said “I am used to it.” And yesterday, he acted like a big brother at the scene. He also acted in the drama ‘Next Heroes’ recently. Because he was acting deep into the drama, he became arrogant outside the drama which his father is unable to stand it and told him to pay attention (to his attitude).
