-- Firstly, can you tell me what made you become a musical actor?
Run: I've been doing my activities as a singer last time, and sang for the drama's OST. So I met with the song producer, and he asked me to join the audition for the musical. The first time I participated in the musical was Goong in Seoul. The musical Goong is Seoul was my first time participating in the musical, and this time Goong in Japan was my second time.
-- So you must be familiar with it?
Run: There's some parts I'm already familiar with, but there's also new features added in, so I'm anticipating a lot & felt nervous too.
-- What about Sunyoung?
SY: I've been learning musical during my high school, also furthered my musical in university. I had a dream of standing on the stage as a musical actress since high school. I was very lucky because I was selected in the audition during my fourth year in high school, after that, I'm performing on the stage as an actress.
-- Sunyoung have performed in many musicals before, what do you feel about Goong this time?
SY: Because I've also participated in musical Goong in Seoul last year, but Goong have the dance performance scenes and I don't have much experience in dancing, so it's quite difficult for me. Very difficult, but I worked hard. Besides, the character Shin Chaekyung is the main character in the musical Goong, so I poured in a lot of effort in portraying this character, it's my utmost favorite musical at the meantime.
