SS501‘s Park Jung Min has filed a lawsuit towards his former label for 200,000,000 KRW (approximately $180,000 USD).
According to legal representatives, Park Jung Min had filed his lawsuit against CNr Media because, “When the contract was signed in October 2010, the profit was supposed to be split at a set rate. However, the balance remaining has still not been paid. The unpaid dues are estimated to reach 1.1 billion KRW (approximately $1 million USD), but the suit is only for 200 million KRW. Later on, the exact profit will be calculated and the suit will be increased as a result. The label received the request of correction about the unpaid dues, but did nothing. Because of this, the contract with them was terminated last December.
Park Jun Min’s provisional disposition to terminate the validity of his contract with CNr Media was approved by the Seoul Central District Court back in July. He is currently preparing for his Korean comeback.

SS501’s Park Jung Min has filed a two hundred million won lawsuit against his former agency seeking compensation.Park Jung Min’s current agency, Yamaha A&R, has revealed the singer filed a lawsuit seeking compensation on October 10 at the Seoul Central District Court against his former agency, CNR Media.
A representative for Park Jung Min shared, “In addition to unclear aspects of the profit division and the profit payment obligation, [CNR Media] has shown no intention to release the balanced accounts of profits or expenses or any evidence and Park Jung Min has been unable to even verify how much he has not been paid.”
It added, “Following a partial document we were able to secure that listed a 1.1 billion won as the unpaid amount, we filed a lawsuit seeking two hundred million won in damages from that amount.”Previously in July, Park Jung Min won a lawsuit against the same agency which successfully terminated his contract with them before signing on with Yamaha A&R’s Victor Entertainment
