Source:Star N News

Kim Hyunjoong will finally be making his comeback to the small screen as he has agreed to play the leading role in the drama “City Conquest.” Although the drama has not yet commenced filming, over 10,000,000 USD has already been made from selling the drama’s broadcasting rights to foreign countries, breaking the record for the most money ever made by a Korean drama through the selling of broadcasting rights. According to the producer of “City Conquest,” many Asian countries such as Hong Kong, Japan, China, and Taiwan have already bought rights to air the drama, and many other countries are still currently in the midst of negotiations.

This is not the first time that Kim Hyunjoong’s drama has received such a positive international response. The broadcasting rights to his last drama “Playful Kiss” was sold to eleven countries, setting a record for the highest number of countries to buy rights to air a Korean drama.
